Our unit is broken into five different departments that are each responsible for completing and managing key functions of the unit.
Each of these departments is lead by an officer, who is assisted by an assistant officer, senior enlisted cadet and petty officer clerks.
The Operations Department is responsible for the management and administration of all unit events, activities, trips and ensuring that all unit day-to-day operations run effectively. Additionally, the department is responsible for ensuring that all personnel receive credit for their participation in various activities and events.
The Administration Department is responsible for all matters regarding administration with our unit. This includes personnel record management, award management, and ensuring that all medical records are up to date and properly accounted for within each cadet’s Service Record Binder (SRB).
The Community Service Department is responsible for acting as a liaison between our unit and our local communities as well as providing our cadets with community service opportunities. The Department works closely with our Operations Department to schedule color guards, and community service events.
The Supply & Logistics Department is responsible for outfitting over 180 cadets with uniforms as well providing logistical assistance. Additionally the department is responsible for managing an inventory that exceeds $1 million of government property under the direction of the Military Property Custodian (MPC).
The Civil Affairs Department is responsible for informing the community of all the activities, events, and accomplishments our unit receives. The department works as a liaison between our unit and the Freehold Regional High School District’s Communications and District Project’s Coordinator.
