COLTS NECK, NJ– On February 18th, 2017, FRHSD NJROTC successfully hosted our ninth annual “All Service Invitational Drill Competition.” The competition, which took place at Colts Neck High School, included six JROTC teams, with Lynn English Marine Corps JROTC of Lynn, Massachusetts taking first place; Lowell Air Force JROTC of Lowell, Massachusetts in second; and Union Army JROTC of Union, New Jersey seizing third. FRHSD’s Navy JROTC hosted and did not compete for a position in this event. Other units attending were Chambersburg Navy JROTC from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and Lenape Army JROTC from New Jersey. With over 300 veterans, citizens, and JROTC Cadets in attendance, teams competed across a full portfolio of armed, unarmed, exhibition, and regulation drill events. Our 75 cadet volunteers were also assisted by our gracious FRHSD NJROTC Parent’s Club, whose tireless efforts were invaluable inensuring a well-executed and pleasurable experience for all. FRHSD NJROTC is proud to have been bequeathed the significant honor of hosting this substantial event, and would like to congratulate each of our participants, teams, and volunteers on a job well done. Outstanding work cadets!
